This beautiful Giclee print has been produced as a pair, alongside Mediterranean Symphony. The original oil painting took nine months to create and is composed looking out across the French Riviera, from the Base Nature at Frejus, on the Cote D’Azur.
Shafts of light pierce through the heavy storm clouds moving over a Mediterranean peninsula, as we stand before the choppy tide. The distant sky is as dark as night, punctuated only by glimpses of the almost forgotten sun.
This painting explores the idea that perhaps not every day will be bright. However, there is beauty to be found even in times of upheaval, if we do not allow ourselves to become preoccupied with the storm clouds on the horizon
This beautiful limited edition Giclee print makes a dramatic statement on any wall and is equally at home on a boat, as it is in a modern or classical interior. It is lovingly produced both on 390gsm stretched canvas and 270gsm archival paper.
'Angel In The Water' is also available as part of Brett's interior decor pillow range, where part of it can be seen on a wave print cushion cover.
You can discover more about this painting in Brett's online art gallery. A moving time-lapse film has been made, showing the development of the painting. It makes for unforgettable viewing.
