In this limited edition print, the fourth in the Tuiscint collection, we see the two figures together for the first time. The waves of grass mimic the motion of a heavy sea, however the figure in green seems to glide effortlessly through the stormy terrain. The artist draws our attention to the couple’s joined hands. If we look closely we can clearly see that the man is being led patiently by the lady in green; he seems totally dependent on her for guidance. His trust is such that he does not even look up to see where he is going. However we also notice that the pair’s arms replicate the movement of the grass, hinting that the journey has not been smooth.
