The grace and magnificence of the thoroughbred in motion has been skillfully depicted by the artist in this beautiful fine art print. Using only pencil, and therefore removing colour from the process, art has been stripped to its bare essentials in this piece. Such detailed horse drawings as this one tend to be rare. This is because no other medium exposes the artist’s ability quite so openly to scrutiny as graphite pencil. There is no colour to distract the eye, all marks are linear; mistakes are obvious.
